Important Disclaimer

A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property. It is not an exhaustive technical evaluation, nor is it an engineering analysis. Finalspect Inc. does not guarantee that every defect will be found, nor do we provide a warranty or guarantee regarding the future condition of the property or its components.

1. Scope of the Inspection

The inspection is performed in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). The inspection is designed to identify material defects in the systems and components of the home as they exist at the time of the inspection.

  • The inspection does not cover hidden or latent defects.
  • We do not move furniture, rugs, personal belongings, or dismantle equipment.
  • We do not inspect for environmental hazards such as asbestos, radon, lead, or mold unless explicitly contracted as an ancillary service.

2. Limitation of Liability

By booking an inspection with Finalspect Inc., the client agrees that the liability of Finalspect Inc., its inspectors, employees, and agents, for any claims, losses, or damages arising out of the inspection or the inspection report, shall be strictly limited to the amount of the fee paid for the inspection service.

3. Third-Party Contractors (Partner Hub)

Finalspect Inc. provides a "Partner Hub" feature that allows clients to request repair quotes from third-party contractors.

Finalspect Inc. does not employ these contractors, nor do we guarantee the quality, timeliness, or pricing of their work. The client is solely responsible for vetting and hiring any contractor, and Finalspect Inc. assumes no liability for any work performed by third parties.

4. Privacy Policy, Data & Media Usage

Finalspect Inc. respects your privacy. The information collected during the inspection (including photos, videos, and 3D RoomPlan data) is strictly used to generate your inspection report and provide our services.

Media Release & "Virtual Walk-Along" Videos

As part of our Virtual Walk-Along technology, Finalspect Inc. records video clips of material defects. We maintain a strict privacy policy regarding this footage.

  • The Opt-In Guarantee: During the booking process, clients may opt-in to allow Finalspect Inc. to use anonymized video clips for public educational and marketing purposes (e.g., social media).
  • Strict Anonymity: If opted-in, we guarantee that no personal property, family photos, exterior addresses, GPS metadata, or identifying features of the home or its occupants will ever be disclosed. Videos are tightly cropped strictly on the structural defect.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Your report may be securely shared with your designated real estate agent if you have granted permission.
